What compromise agreements contain
Compromise agreements are individual contracts between you and your employer. As such, compromise agreements are not set in stone there is no right or wrong answer. There are certain minimum contents set out by statute, such as it must be in writing and signed by an independent solicitor, but the money element is often open to negotiation.
It’s impossible to adopt a one size fits all approach to drafting of a compromise agreement. Broadly speaking, the higher the risk to the employer, the more money they will offer you.
